I remember a conversation I had with my old man back in November/December time. We said how it was odd listening to a per match press conference where the manager was saying how the other team is excellent and we need to adapt our game to try to counter it. Rather than saying something like "they're a good side but we are going out to win this as the players we have are capable".

He always looks to defend the opposition rather than try to grab hold of the bull by the horns and be the team controlling a match with them having to adapt
