Some of the players who would have been sent on their way, who know their time is up and are probably motivated accordingly, are going to be asked to step up again. Tierney, Ayala, Barnett, E Benno, Fox and Butterfield are all good Champ players and it will make much more sense to retain and play them if we go down rather than shift loads out and get loads in...

The problem is, what sort of relationship do they have with the Manager and will they want to play for him under those circumstances?
