What Has Whitaker Done Wrong?

Has he got a knock?
He comes into the team, impresses all round-link up play, presence etc-is a threat going forward...gets back in, awesome at Arsenal, out he goes. Why wasn't he playing yesterday?
Elliott Benno the same-effective against Reading, offers options-bombed out again.
And is Tierney really that much worse than Garrido?
Or is it about favourites, an accusation levelled against the Manager at Newcastle?
