No-one HAS blamed one person or organisation for what happened and this is just a smokescreen to cover your implicit and explicit besmerching of Liverpool fans yesterday.

The tragedy, the death toll and the subsequent scandal were caused by a collective failure of the state and authorities.

Sheffield Council for not imposing safety restrictions on Hillsborough.

Sheffield Wednesday for not maintaining the stadium to acceptable standards.

The police for too many things to mention but mainly herding supporters in to one central pen.

The ambulance service for a pathetic response.

The media for perpetuating untruths.

The Government for complicity in the cover- up.

etc etc...

Your post above may be measured but your casual peddling of unsubstantiated rumours and slurs yesterday was not. I should not have called you a bigot and I apologise for that. However this is a topic I have passionate feelings about and I will never stop expressing my utter frustration with those who seem, I'm afraid, to still not bloody get it.
