Lambert was a brilliant manager and will probably go on to

be one of the best in the game but it was always obvious that he was in transit at Norwich just like he will be at Villa. But as a replacement I can't see anyone around at the moment who is better than CH. Every appointment and signing in footy is a gamble but I think CH is the best we could've got and it'll be good to have a manager who hopefully has longer term plans for the club and not just using us as a next step on their career. Villa fans may be all smug at the moment but if they're successful under Lambert I wouldn't get too comfortable if I was them.
