Bit more it than that...

if you are over a certain age - 41 I think - you get a week and and half for every year. But there is a maximum of ?430 a week before tax, so you may not get as much as you think. Hope it all works out for you, my hubby as just started a new job after redundancy so we know its s**t! This site is useful
