Quick question - should we be pleased most of the media give us no credit whatsoever?

I mean, how many managers, teams and players have f**ked up after believing their own hype?

We even had a tase of it earlier this season with the "Johnson for England" whispers preceding a big drop off in form for Bradley Johnson.

It riles me up that even against f**king "below us in the league" Swansea we're seen as some sort of plundering giant-killers, reliant on fortunate bounces and rough-house tactics to beat the new darlings of the press.

BUT - being under the radar keeps the heat of expectation off, it clearly motivates the players (if their tweets after the Swans game are any guide) and it may also keep the squad from the thieving hands of "bigger clubs".

If head rules heart, I guess we should be glad of forever being the media bridesmaids...
