I just think that if you have two left sided players back in the penalty area then one of them should have been picking up Barton. I accept that the cross was mis hit but he still had a lot of space.
That said, he took the goal very well and ultimately it doesn't matter as we won the game!
As for the cushion we absolutely must not get complacent and of course we can get sucked back into it. I just think that Blackpool got sucked into it from a similar position last season because they went on an 18 match winless run. I just can' see us, under lambert doing the same as we seem to have a knack of picking up a win every so often to keep our heads above water.
