Last season, a team managing those PPG's over the season would have finished with 46, 51 and 53 points. These totals would have got them 12th 8th and 8th.

In Summary, Bolton and Blackburn need to perform like top 8 sides for the rest of the season to hit 40 points, Wigan like a mid table side.

Wigan capable of that, Bolton and Blackburn not likely to be.

What does it mean? Fuck all probably, it interested the geek in me to find out though.
