Lambert is thinking about his next move even now.

Doesn't mean he's off at the next available opportunity, or even in the Summer, regardless of where we finish.

Going up this season would benefit the club financially, of course it would-but, as pants said, we took the money and the parachute payments in 2004 and ended uo even more in debt, the same has happened for other "medium" sized clubs that had a short spell in the Prem-Derby County a prime example.

Going up next season would, I think, especially if PL is still here, be better for the club, football-wise, another year to build, get players on board and establish some continuity. A year ago this weekend we won at MK Dons, eight of the starting XI in that game would not be considered starters at the moment.

So yes, take the chance if its there. But another year to wait wouldn't be a bad thing.
