it is suggested that Ince was in the running for the Managers post when Grant left in 2007, saying that he wasn't interested in becoming manager if Delia and Michael were not going to remain in control of the club.

Yesterday, Munby refuses to confirm or deny that Ince was first offered the job and people assume this to mean that Ince was the first to be offered it.

So, is it foolish to assume that he didn't get the same assurances this time around and the guy who recently posted a rumour on the Oink Un might just be right about new investment?

Only time will tell, but we live in hope!
