Intelligent... hardly something that can be compared without IQ and psychometric tests of all candidates.

You're not thinking about the cost of his apppointment etc... he probably wouldn't take it short-term etc... basically he'd be at least as much a punt as Gunn but would cost a lot more. Oh and he wouldn't unite the fans as much which is actually important in my view.
