He played Hoolahan left midfield, when Bell was on the bench, and admitted Hooly hadn't listened to his instructions to stay there. Nothing against Gunny, a very nice chap and all that, but you're reading the tea-leaves and seeing what you want to see.

I think it would be a shame to see Gunny be brought down by this. We know fans can't tolerate losing nowadays, so the first defeat will start a landslide against him.
