Man Management vs coaching???

Ongoing gunny debate aside.... I have long thought that man management is probably MORE important than other qualities. This is especially true at International football but also at the Norwich level.
I may of couse be wrong but our last 2 managers seem to have lacked this skill almost entirely.
I am not saying this means Gunn should be the man but do want someone who can motivate. A coaching team is key for me but the main man has to be a motivator.
