Further to yesterday, I'd be happy with him until the end of the season

The players obviously know how to play, Gunny has the respect of the players, management and the fans.

I think the fans would get right behind him and the team, even if they were playing below par.

I also think Gunny would be man enough, should it go really badly, to say "That's it, I've had a go but I'm not good enough" and step down.
