Leave that to the Pinkos. We won because three players - Fozzy, Otsemobor and Bertrand - pulled their fingers out at last, which meant that we had a team. What Gunny had to do, he did right, but he can't be the answer long-term. IMO the "one of our own" line is a PR sop from a weak Chairman and Chief Exec with an eye on the season ticket sales, and thus the valuation of the Club as they look for a buyer. Who cares, as long as he's the best man for the job?
