In case anyone's already guessed: yes, we DO have (lifelong of course) Chelsea fans at our work - three of 'em, in Chester, yes, Chester - and none of them remembered the guy.

While we all racked our brains, the Lifelong Chelsers were even saying the sort of things your Mum might, e.g. are you thinking of Gronkjaer/ is it Di Matteo you're on about etc.

When I gave them the name, yes of course they all remembered him then.

Chelsea fans. (shakes head)
