It will be great, even if only for 1 game.
Been watchin Norwich for 25 years now and it'll be the first time a hero of mine from the playing days will be in charge.
Strange really, considering what great players we had in the late 1980's and early 90's, I thought we would have had 1 or 2 ex players from tha era by now (Crook, Bowen, Butterworth, Townsend, Fleck, Fox, Gordon etc etc....) but none of them ever went into management at a proper level.
We seem to have already skipped a decade or so and now talking about more recent players like Mackay, Flem, Eadie etc as being part of the coaching setup.
Just starnge that we seem to have missed out on potentially a great generation of ex players becoming our manager.
