...he had his family club angle decided upon, pitched it to the sports editor, he/she said yes and off he trotted and wrote the first and last paragraphs before filling in the gaps with some family orientated guff...not really that surprising a journo has a bit of spin, is it?..

Yes, it probably was a horrible night but so what?..

And so we move on...including Mr Dennis I'd have thought...it's the media, that's the way it is...
