made in football, or at least since Mclaren was made England manager. If and a big if, Worthington was their number 1 choice then they all seriously need step aside from the decision making process at the club, bring in a new CE and chairman, with fresh ideas to help them (Delia/Michael) run the club.
I'm finding it difficult to get to grips with the idea that it wasn't an official approach and just testing the water from reading the NIFA statement. And even if he is one of many, why is he even anywhere near that f**king list? There's so many more unemployed managers out there with a decent enough track record than the previous 2 times we needed one. Pick one and let's try and get ourselves out of the s**t we're in.
I don't really know how good our CE and chairman are at their jobs and I used to question that of those who have been overly critical of them in the past. However if you look at businesses in other sectors, would Doncaster still be in a job, considoring the performance of our club both on and off the pitch? Maybe I'm just thouroughly f**ked off and looking for someone to blame and over-reacting to something that didn't even materialise but take this debacle and then add in some of the decisions made in recent years and the overall financial and operational running of the business since relegation, then I would suggest a fresh appproach may not be a bad idea.
