This heathrow thing.

Instead of expanding it, would it not be a better idea to improve local airports?
Get more flights out of the regionals, stop people having to go to london to fly, and then Heathrow will be better placed to serve london rather than half the country.

Also then save the pollution of all those people traveling up/down/across to london to go on hollibobs.

Or have I (as usual) Spectacularly missed the point?
