I don't think experience is overrated as such

But it certainly doesn't imply any magic ability to build a successful team. On paper, Robins sounds just the ticket in the long term; but given the position we find ourselves in we do need someone who has the nouse to immediately get something out of the squad. No time (let alone cash) for f**king around, experimenting or building; straight in and start producing results. Tall order for anyone I would have thought and not a job for a relative novice
