Roeder's post match comments sum the man up

So, let?s get this straight.

Every single available NCFC player was supposedly in the squad last night. Some were forced to play through injuries. One is even suffering from mysterious chest problems.

So, it wasn?t an unreasonable question to ask Roeder if he was thinking of recalling the three players currently farmed out on loan.

"The two boys at Luton... I don't think they can come back and I wouldn't call them back anyway," he said. "At the moment they're playing in Division Two and doing just OK.

"And there's one at Barnsley for three months and as of tonight, he will see his loan out at Barnsley," he replied.

I don?t think anyone would pretend for a moment that recalling these players is the solution to City?s problems, but what must they have made of reading these comments? In the case of Cureton, here is a man that loves the club and would undoubtedly love to try and help them out of this mess. But no. Roeder is far too arrogant to call him back ? it might appear he got it wrong by sanctioning the loan move in the first place. And so we go into this weekend?s game pitifully short of attacking options.

Our league position is grounds enough for people to be upset with the manager. But Glenn Roeder?s position might just be a little bit more secure if he wasn?t such an obnoxious, arrogant, horrible little man.
