I don't think it's a matter of

'the fans deserve better' or any such stuff. I think it's a simple matter of professional incompetence.

As so many chairmen say 'It's a results business'. Stuff 'the constraints he has to work under'; he knew what he was taking on, he is forever lying about his knowledge. know-how, the amazing ability of his staff etc AND WE HAVE LOST NINE OF THE LAST TEN AWAY GAMES.

It's not difficult to make the judgement - he's a very poor football manager and should be removed from office.
