they've been banging on about it on 5live for the last hour,

at the end of the day he's said it to a mate who probably calls him something equally offensive but there is no malice intended on either side. He's made a public apology to all the people whom he's offended by it who in all honesty have nothing to do with it. The sort of people who sit at home all day with nothing better to do than complain about things that make no difference to their lives. So he's apologised and thats it. Why does the media have to blow it up and spend so much time on it when there's so much other, worse, more newsworthy stories going on tonight?
