watching the Mary Whitehouse experience after managing to download it from the wuruld woide interweb the other day - first time I'd seen it since it was originally on telly.

The jokes almost seemed contemporary! Early 90's - financial meltdown, Prime Minister being ousted and replaced by ruling party, war in Iraq, etc.

If I'd watched it in the late 90s it would have seemed really dated, but at the moment everything was so relevant again.
