NCFC Schedule up until August 2009:

November 2008 - May 2008 : Continue to perform badly on the pitch, struggle financially off the pitch. Lose in FA Cup 3rd Round to a lower league team. Culminate in relegation to League One in May 2008. Part company with Glenn Roeder.

June 2008 : Be subject to a takeover from a British consortium. Appoint an up and coming manager from the lower leagues, ideally Mark Robins. Focus on building a squad of young, eager players who are looking to help the club progress.

July 2008 - August 2008 - With the backing of the new owners build a squad of youth and experience that is able to compete in League One and aspire to win promotion back to the Championship within 3 years.

I don't know about anyone else but I would prefer this kind of scenario, rather than 3 more seasons like last season and this one???
