Did you put it under a bucket and then the bucket ran round the garden?

That's what happened to my Dad in about 1976 when he and Mum went through their Good Life stage.

The stanley knife went clean through but it keppa flappin and arunnin'.

I have a photo somewhere of a bucket with legs.
