...and I really felt for him after he left us. Having had the opportunity to meet him before a game against Coventry at home he had all the right ideas and talked an excellent game - but wasn't able to transfer that across to the players.
I'm sure he's a fantastic coach to have around the place, he certainly had the group I was part of thinking everything was going to be alright, but when it came down to it I think he just had too many ideas coming into mind that he didn't know what to stick with and what to do as a manager.
He was quickly snapped up again as a coach so that suggests he can offer something to the game - it's just a shame it wasn't with us.
Roeder's arrogance isn't something that's going to help anybody through this though - no matter how much you try to tell yourself. His handling of most questions seems to be 'I almost died, this means I can tell you exactly what I think'. People don't respond well to that, and any unhappy workplace for whatever reason tends not to be a productive one...
