A question I quite wanted to ask at the AGM re the academy

I don't know the exact figure it costs us to maintain the academy but I bet it's more than a million.

Begs the question to me; Do we get a million pounds worth of first team players out of the academy year on year?

Absolutely not.

Rules dictate we can only get kids from a certain distance away. You draw a map and take a couple of hour radius from Norwich, what have you got? A f**k load of the north sea and a f**k load of countryside.

Would we be better to fold the academy and spend the money on better scouting of Europe and lower leagues?
