Banging the same old drum

but one of the big problems is the Academy. It is a drain on resources and has produced very little. I'd be interested to know what it is actually supposed to DO. For years we have seen parade after parade of kids around Carrow Road, none of whom have ever made it. I wonder if that has become an end in itself. Give some local kids the experience of being attached to the football club, give one or two, like Rob Eagle a couple of years pretending that they might be real footballers. Well it's all for the long-term benefit of the community isn't it? Because if the Academy was actually FOR producing players for the first team someone would have had a bloody close look at it by now. I thought Roeder was going in the right way when he pushed out Adams and Bloodworth (who?) but all they actually got was a longer summer break.
