So near, yet so far!

Patience they say is a virtue but mine is now beginning to wear thin following yet another City performance so full of promise but with little to show for it at the end of the day. Clearly with the home crowd down to little over 23,000 others have already begun to tread the same route.
NCFC cannot expect the truly magnificent support the lads have been receiving to continue indefinitely while the level of under-achievement continues to accelerate out on the park.
Glenn Roeder was, and to a certain extent still is, an inspired choice of manager but surely however much we make like him there has to be a cut-off point where someone in authority has to say enough is enough. Thankfully we are not quite at that stage yet but with the fat lady beginning to exercise her vocal chords who can know where we will be in another three consecutive defeat's time?!
