Yes, on paper it's not a bad squad

yet we're still in real danger of relegation. Just seems something wrong at the club. I really do think it's the lack of stability on the playing side, the lack of real, genuine togetherness that a team of players committed long term to the club brings.

It was loans that sparked our title winning year, but the crucial one among Crouch, Hucks and Harper was the one who really was committed. All the other main starters were on long term contracts and had a real bond.

Where are the bonds in this current group? The players on contracts, like Doherty, Drury, Otsemabor and Cureton can't get in the team ahead of loanees like Kennedy, Omasuzi, Bertrand and Lita/Sibierski. Then, when one the loanees is injured, they're expected to come in and play well, despite the resentment they may feel at hired hands taking their place.

Loans should be an added, short term boost to a team to either get in the top six or stay up, or as an emergency cover for a rash of injuries. They should not be such a fundamental basis of the club's transfer policy.

But, as GR says, he loves loans so tough. And when he makes an unpopular substitution that works then you're all a bunch of t**ttish fans who know nothing. When he makes one that doesn't work it's the player's fault, or the ref, or the colour of the f**king sky.

Never has a blame culture been so ingrained in a football club.

If GR does well for us ultimately, then good. But he'll always be an arrogant, unpleasant, smug, aggressive f**king weirdo to me.
