General rule of thumb

If I receive an email or a link that has something along the lines of 'Funny as Fuck' or 'You've GOTTA read this' or 'This is CLASSIC', it's usually a bag of s**te and to be avoided.

Also known as the rule of unnecessary exclamation marks.
