What Concerns Me...

I'm delighted he won and am genuinely hoping he will instigate change, both in the US
and abroad.

I felt the same when Blair was elected though!

I'm sure Obama WANTS change-no question. But will he get the sort of co-operation needed? How many "old" conservatives still there, in positions and places who will want to screw him and his chances, some for no more reason than he is black?

The other thing that worries me is, with him such a populist choice, how soon before someone takes a pop at him, logic being if the US is so "up" at his election, how far "down" would the nation fall if he were to be removed by violent means?
