Thing is, I could take mediocrity from the team

if they looked like they actually cared and were trying. I remember when Walker's tenure came to an end, and the embarrassment of getting a hiding off the scum at their dump. I remember Grant's "efforts" and genuinely fearing the team were heading down faster than a speeding bullet. But this is worse, much worse.
