yeah never understood that

we were totally awful under grant and with a decent player like evans up front, the goals started coming and we were a few points of the playoffs. then we tailed off again and nearly got back in relegation trouble. a miracle escape is staying up on the last day. IIRC quite a few teams who were down the bottom when grant got sacked didn't have a terrible season in the end.
