What and awful display, worhty of the Grant era, to put in some perspective it was almost as bad as Wolves away last year.
The display was lacklustre, effortless, generally awful, embarrassing etc etc. There were only 2 players today who deserve to be paid - Doc and Drury the others should give their wages to us fans who pad to watch that crap.
I'm not going to rate the players as none would get above 3 other than Drury or Doc but here's a player description.
Marshall, did his best again to concede, made a save at the end of the game but didn't have much to do.
Drury, MoTM for us, calm on the ball, went forward tracked back.
Kennedy, no conviction to his clearances, out muscled by the attackers for the second time in a week.
Doc, not the best player but he tried, muscled and harried when he could, won nearly everything in the air. Don't know why he was taking free kicks though.
Olmouzi, cost us 2 against Derby and tried his best again here, Croft was doing his job and thank God Semi is on the way back.
Bell, did we pay for him? If we did it was too much, not too bad on the ball, but no incisive, not strong enough, not fast enough and didn't help Drury with defensive matters at all.
Croft, Did OK funny that our 3 best players were our own (maybe someone will make something of that). Though he's not fit, he can't be, he;s not fast enough and needs to shed a few.
Clingan, Was just bad, not strong enough and wouldn't tackle.
Fozzy, didn't do much.
Rusty, why upfront? why at all?
Lita, Was crap for the second consecutive game, if you see him out slap him and say "that's for being offside 4789 times"
Subs
Patty, was off form, ran about a bit but soon calmed down and conformed to the rest of the team.
JC, can;t hack it at this level
Otsemobor, didn't do a great deal, will be good when he's fit again.
Today was pathetic, there was no passion of effort, it was like they were all hungover. The fans made a bit of noise, particularly at the start of the second half. I have never booed Nodge but i was tempted today and i was chanting "what a load of rubbsih" like the rest of them. A few of the players had the audacity to applaud us the rest, rightly, skulked off to the dressing room.
Unacceptable Norwich, at the moment, it's Forest, Donny and one of Charlton, Southampton and us to go down and unless we sort it out fast it'll be us.
Koroma would have been suited for todays hit and hope football, his pace could have at least put some pressure on Burnley.
I am so angry at how easy Derby and Burnley have had it, their attackers and midfielders have been able to bring down balls take 400 touches and pass it on, as well as being allowed to waltz through our players. It was a miracle it was only 2-0, 7 or 8-0 would have been fairer.
But lets face it i'm a mug so i'll be there again.
