Old Git's DVDfest update

Last night was Death Proof, Blade Runner (Director's Cut) and (in honour of WOTB) Bulletproof Monk.

Death Proof is the first Tarantino fillum I've seen and it was utter s**te. Even I could detect that it was an ironic take on the 70s B movie but surely that is no excuse for such lazy and tedious crap. Blade Runner remains really wonderful, though it's a bit scary seeing how young Harrison Ford looks. Bulletproof Monk was a bit of a laugh though I think I would have appreciated it a bit more if I'd had a few spliffs.
