To those who've been defending little Wes against nasty Mr Roeder..

In a team display not exactly lacking for substandard individuals, Hoolahan was extraordinarily poor last night. His complete lack of effort in the build-up to their first goal was shameful, and Roeder should have subbed him right away. Yes, he has more talent than many at this level, but that doesn't compensate for lack of discipline and work-rate. Bertrand must have been pining for the days when Huckerby was his defensive help! Mistakes and lack of quality are forgiveable: lack of commitment is not.
