There is plenty of money to be had in the Premiership - he has bought the debt at a hugely reduced rate, and if ITFC have a sustained run in the Prem, he will be able to make a profit on his investment. He has also said that there is more money available should it be necessary. There is also his corporate hospitality expertise which should enable the Club to increase its revenue.
Admittedly, promotion is not guaranteed with this new funding - but the prospects are certainly enhanced, and we are no longer in a position where we have to seel players if we fail. This will enable us to build a team over the next two or three seasons, and I for one am looking forward to seeing what will happen. Not sure what Plan B is, but I don't think Evans is looking at this as being a short-term project anyway. As I said, fingers crossed...
