We had Stoke there for the taking.
Switched off and ruined an excellent 45 minutes within 30 seconds of the restart and then fell apart.
By the end we were a shambles - no shape and lost our discipline. Semi makes a big difference to the team, was a blow to lose him. BUT there was enough on show for me to believe we have turned the corner.
I was suprised Roeder didn't bring on Smith for Russell when we were losing control of the game/midfield. Evans looked lively, once he understands Dions game a bit more they could be effective.
Did anybody see Lee Clark continually telling Roeder to sit back down on the bench and leave the instructions to him, was quite amusing.
Also finally I thought Mo Camara was poor, suprised to see the praise on here for him. Really do like Pattison though. Lively and very good on the ball.
