Terracing is the preferred home of the teen 'hooligan in waiting' who attempts to mimic the 'big boys' with limited success until they finally become 'big' too. It is the home of a pathetic thuggish clan of (mostly) males who posture in much the same way as great apes do when their territory is threatened. The one thing that seats do is render each and every person identifiable to the authorities. Thus, stripped of the cloak of anonimity, the acts of hooliganism have dropped off to such a degree that it is hardly ever seen in a football stadium. Which I like.
