Norwich boss Glenn Roeder on ending a run of 11 matches without a win:
"This means everything. I said before the game that it didn't matter how we played as long as we took the three points.
"Well, we have won by playing some excellent football and as far as I'm concerned it has been a perfect day.
"We had got into the habit of not winning games and that simply had to change. Now we have done that hopefully we can move on from here."
Coventry manager Iain Dowie:
"We had a lot of the ball, especially in the second half but we just didn't show enough in the final third.
"Norwich had one attack in the second half and scored from it. We had most of the play but didn't make any use of it, which was very frustrating.
"I am very angry because we keep giving away silly goals, it's been our Achilles heel for some time now. We should have dealt with both situations. We didn't and got punished for it."
