That draw in italy was a decent result

That's half the problem with england for me, for some reason we believe we should beat anyone and that's jsut not true.
A draw there was a great result.
The home draw wasn't ideal, but far from a disaster.

Drawing with argentina when down to 10 was also a cracking result. Beckham (a young lad at the time) let us down then (though the backlash was sickening) 11 v 11 for the full game would of been interesting but again we'll never know.

Romania was a poor result, but every manager has some of those. We are simply not good enough to win EVERY game.
