Holland have been shocking ever since the World Cup

I actually think that, ever since France 98, they've been in long term decline: both the (absolutely shocking) '04 and (moderate) '06 sides seemed like long ball teams to me. Any chance of Van Basten being fired before the finals, and someone else brought in to freshen things up?
