The Arsenal thing is bollocks.

Carson - good keeper, wrong game.
Bridge - only reserve at Chelsea because the England 1st choice plays there too.
Gerrard / Lampard / Barry - good players...when they want to be
Crouch - only struggles to get in the Liverpool side because of the rotation policy. The only player, apart from Beckham, to come out of last night with any credit.

You also have to remember we were missing an entire back line and front two.

The fault should lie with the manager for a) picking the wrong team / formation and b) not motivating the players properly.
