An english manager that understood the shortcomings in the english game, and was adressing them.
Hoddle IMHO would of won us something, had a squad capable of maturing into a team and was wel on course to achieve that.
However, because he didn't cow tow to the media, they decided he had to go.
Yes he was an idiot, but they were just looking for a reason to remove him.
