I think your hatred of Cameron may be obscuring your judgment

This government is giving a serious impression of incompetence at the moment, especially on Northern Rock (what a f**k up!).

The fact is that the government RUNS things. So when it turns out that there are illegal immigrants working in reasonably sensitive jobs, or tax bods swapping deeply sensitive info by sticking it in the internal mail, it's no use saying "it's not our fault, it's those useless civil servants".

As it happens I don't think this is a resigning matter for the Chancellor, and the right civil servant has resigned. But I do think that SOMEONE in government should be on the block as well as the head of the IR.
