Bear in mind that my response earlier was to AB saying the protest should be "called off": by this, I thought he meant called off for good, rather than just postponed til the next home game. For this misunderstanding, I apologise.

Judging by the comments on the PinkUn site (and I'm not just talking about AB, SiH and Brom!), it's all too clear that even those who might have protested on Saturday won't be doing so now. In fact, those who want to see Smudger make a fool of himself should really be encouraging him to go ahead - because he will destroy himself if he does so regardless. Pete's offered him an out... but will he have the sense to take it?
